Applying to Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US for 2010 Entry
Applications will be open by the time we return from the holiday and you will have to begin applying soon after, before you get busy with mock exams and IB exams. Take time this holiday to complete your research and narrow down the list of universities and courses you hope to apply to. Check requirements and deadlines very carefully.
• There is a list of useful websites on the noticeboard and the Senior School website. Please use it!
• Make sure you have kept your Tutor informed of your plans.
BrightSparks Scholarship Website
BrightSparks provides extensive scholarship and career information. To access most of the information and to allow scholarship providers and universities to contact you, you need to register.
BrightSparks has added SJII to the drop down list for user registration. Go to http://brightsparks.com.sg/ , select “All Other Students” under Students, register and select St Joseph’s Institution International from the drop down menu of Schools. Unfortunately they cannot add our logo to the front page because our numbers are too small!
If you have difficulties registering or using the website either check the forum pages for a solution or email brightsparks@jobsfactory.com.
Since this is the first time we are using this site please let me know if you have any feedback on how useful it is.
